This particular subject is clearly going to run and run... that flush with the success of seeing the BBC retreat off their lawn, the Newspaper Society are now hell-bent on taking on the local councils with their dastardly plans to rip all those local planning applications out of their papers and, actually, save local council tax payers money by publishing them for free off their own websites...
Indeed, they're now rolling out some big, cabinet guns to fight their corner - Ed Balls being the latest.
