  I don't do numbers; never have. And, if truth be told, I suspect I never will. So I am therefore very loathe to draw any grander commercial conclusions from our little foray into West Yorkshire on the back of The Guardian's 'Local' experiment in Leeds. But last week's post sparked an interesting debate about advertising relevance and reward; which is why - in part - I thought I'd make a return to the subject tonight.   The more observant among you will be aware that late last week, Addiply dipped another tiny, tiny toe into the world of hyper-local media when Guardian News & Media opted to give the system a trial on their own, new 'Local' sites in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Leeds.   Whether by accident or design, the North-East of England is a very interesting place to be now media-wise. That particular penny has taken a little while to drop, but events of the last 36 hours have only strengthened my feeling that over the course of the next 6-9 months, Newcastle, Sunderland and the great English-Scottish borderlands to the north are the place to be... the area to which many an eye will turn come the spring.
