In fairness, I’ve no doubt that the EDP will build more local reaction in as the story develops; as the late-shift reporter heads off down Unthank Road with notebook and pen in hand.
They might even phone some reaction in to the night copy-taker. Who will pass it across to newsdesk and from there onto the late night subs.
