All aboard the latest addition to the Addiply family… a passionate, niche community as deserving of a chance of an income as any of us

We have a new member of the ‘Addiply’ family tonight. And very welcome they are too.

Because, for me, www.busphotosforsale.com are a perfect example of the way that this whole, new media landscape is splintering into so many tiny fragments.

For here’s another passionate, little niche community brought together by a shared love of the Leyland Atlantean – and shared ability to access to the web.

Fantastic. Good luck to them.

I have absolutely no idea how we stumbled across eachother – though I suspect it might be via John’s Essone Image site – http://midtownbuses.free.fr/spip/ – the clue being in the actual url…

I equally have no idea how much revenue he will be able to drive through the site; nor, I suspect, will John.

But it ought to be a classic example of an ultra-niche publisher having a sixth sense that, somewhere out there, there ought to be people in his own, ultra-niche community that might have a rally to promote, might have bus memorabilia website to market… whatever, really.

All of whom cannot afford to take a chance that entrusting their tiny ad spend to You-Know-Who will guarantee them a place in the midst of John’s community. It would demand too much by way of pin-point targetting for such an ultra-niche advertiser to meet such an ultra-niche publisher.

This way, however, and that third party intervention has been made redundant. It’s just John, his little niche community and the chance for all John’s web efforts on their behalf to earn its due reward.

Which is all we ever hoped for Addiply.com. That the Johns of this world were given a chance; were given a piece of kit that might, just might, keep their web passion ticking over. Even if it just covers the monthly hosting fee, it’s a job done.

Any more fares, folks? Any more fares…
