I've long fallen out of touch with the internal politics at Archant Towers; I do, however, have a vague memory of the lay-out of the building.
As in Archant Group HeadQuarters occupies the top floor of the building - the bit with the wall-to-wall carpets and the posh pot plants; advertising and editorial are on the floor below.

So I may well be missing something here; after all there are deadlines to be met, pages to be filled, etc, etc...
But rather than reporting the suggestion elsewhere that your chief executive is about to go missing, why doesn't anyone wander up the stairs ...
